San Vicente Valley Club
May 28 Meeting/Luncheon
 
 
This is undoubtedly the most rewarding meeting/luncheon of the year for members
of the San Vicente Valley Club. Those outstanding students selected to receive
Scholarships will attend this luncheon and may address the Club concerning
their acceptance.  The Home owners who graciously opened their homes for
viewing during the Club's Annual Home and Garden Tour will also be guests.
 
There will be an Installation of new officers of  SVVC -  President, Helen Jupin,
1st Vice President, Linda Knowles, 2nd Vice President Maxine McNamara,
Recording Secretary Mary Lou Kohl, Corresponding Secretary Kaaren Thiem,
and Treasurer Joan Renaud.
 
The luncheon/meeting on Wednesday May 28 at the San Vicente Inn and Golf
Course will start with social time at 11:00, followed by the meeting and luncheon.
 
Reservations for this special event must be made at the front desk of the Inn by
Friday, May 23.
 
The San Vicente Valley Club is a non profit organization and welcomes new
members who live within Ramona's local area.

"Josh Myers, Anxiety Coaching"

 
 
The San Vicente Valley Club welcomes Josh Myers, a long time residence of Ramona
 and well known within the community.  Mr. Myers will be conducting his presentation on
 March 26 at the San Vicente Inn's General Meeting/Luncheon.  His subject matter
 will be "Anxiety Coaching" a subject recognizable since anxiety attacks
 were a familiarity in his life.  Due to this scenario, he re-continued his schooling and
 received a degree in Psychology; He is therefore, very knowledgeable in this arena.
 
Members and guests are welcome to the meeting/luncheon and must sign up for

reservations at the front desk of the Inn by Friday, March 21.  The cost is only $11.00.
Social time starts at 11:00, a brief meeting at 11:30, lunch at 12:00 followed by

Mr. Myer's presentation at 1:00.

The San Vicente Valley Club will be presenting a fashion show on February 27
at the San Vicente Inn during the club's general meeting and luncheon.

Fashions from Draper & Damon's in Rancho Bernardo will be featured, from
the casual look to divine dining apparel.

The San Vicente Valley Club's models will be Vicki Trimble, Shirley Leyrer,
Racheal Gilmore, Rose Howland, Joan Gansert, Eileen Castberg and
Cindy Tarr.

Members and guests are welcome and must signup for the luncheon/meeting at
the front desk of the San Vicente Inn by Feb 22.
 
The cost for luncheon is only $11.00.

“Paul Greenwood, "Financial Elder Abuse"
 
 
Paul Greenwood head of the San Diego District Attorney's Office Elder Abuse
Prosecution Unit will be the guest speaker for the San Vicente Club's luncheon
and meeting to be held at the San Vicente Inn on January 30.

Mr. Greenwood stated six years ago that "elder abuse will become one of the most
serious issues facing law enforcement in this country within the next five years."  This
prediction appears to be a reality now.  Greenwood will present several issues,
plus challenging concepts of how to resolve the problems that arise in this arena, for
example a need for passage of federal legislation in the form of the Elder Justice Act.
This informative presentation is so very important, and the SVVC is most grateful
for Mr. Greenwood's commitment to inform us at our January luncheon.
 
Members and guests are welcome and must signup for the luncheon/meeting at
the front desk of the San Vicente Inn by Jan. 25.

San Vicenty Valley Club

"Songs Of The Season"
 

Bob Anderson along with his guitar, keyboard and songs of the Holiday
Season will entertain all at the San Vicente Valley Club's December 12
meeting and luncheon.  Bob is an original member of the Black Canyon Band
and has been entertaining for over 25 years.  He is well known for his original
and professional recording material.  The Club enjoyed his last presentation
so much he graciously excepted an invitation to return. 

The Holiday meeting/luncheon is always such a joyful one, so members and
guests must make reservations at the front desk of the San Vicente Inn by Friday,
December 7, to insure a place.  The Inn's Chef is creating a special menu just
for this luncheon, the cost is only $11.00 per person.
 
Social time is 11:00 followed by a brief business meeting, 12:00 luncheon
and Mr. Anderson's entertaining "songfest" will be held at 1:00.

SAN VICENTE VALLEY CLUB

"MAGNIFICENT GOLDEN EAGLES"
 
 
Dave Bittner, biologist and Director of Wildlife Research is scheduled to speak at the
San Vicente Valley Club's meeting/luncheon Nov. 28 at Ramona's San Vicente Inn. 

Bittner describes his Golden Eagle Survey Project as "a bunch of biologists particularly
interested in birds of prey".  His informative dialogue should be of great interest to all
who love to watch these beautiful raptors flying above the Ramona sky.  Bittner's
engrossing presentation will start at 1:00 pm. 

A great luncheon at noon will be served, prepared by the Inns creative Chef  for
only $11.00 per person. Social time is 11:00 followed by a brief meeting.  Members
and guests are welcome.  Reservations for the luncheon must be made at the Inn's
front desk by Friday, Nov. 23. The Valley Club welcomes and encourages surrounding

"LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU"


The San Vicente Valley Club members and guests will be treated by a great entertainer Robert "Bob" Anderson at their member's luncheon scheduled for October 24 at the San Vicente Inn.  Bob, a professional singer, songwriter and musician (guitar and Keyboard) has been entertaining for over 25 years throughout the greater San Diego area and is an original member of the Black Canyon Band.  Bob has performed at the San Diego Country Estates in some capacity since 1973.

He continually works on original recording material and is presently writing a book of poetry.  Members and guests are welcome.  Reservations must be made at the front desk of the San Vicente Inn, deadline is Friday, October 19.  The Inn's Chef will prepare a special luncheon priced at only $11.00 per person.

Social time is 11:00 followed by a brief business meeting, 12:00 luncheon, and Mr.
Anderson's entertainment will be held at 1:00.
